Sports

Training in Sports is provided to the students to help them in developing their personalities. During 2005-2006 Institute won Overall Championship Trophy in the National Sports Meet for the Blind, held in New Delhi by winning 5 Gold medals 3 Silver medals and 1 Bronze medal. Two of our athletes alongwith Shri Vishaw Jit Head of computer section, were selected to represent India in the International Sports Meet -- ‘Disability Sports England’ organised by International Paralympic Committee at Manchester Sports Arena U.K. in June 2005. They won 1 Gold Medal and 1 Silver Medal in Javelin Throw and Shotput Throw respectively.

Our students bagged 5 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 7 bronze medals in the National Sports Meet for the blind which took place at Ludhiana in November 2008. they also won overall championship trophy. These students were also honored by Chandigarh Administration.
